Ruby Bradham Muhr
Ruby Bradham Muhr, 70, of Savannah, died Wednesday, Nov.
15, 2006 at Heritage Park Convalescent Center.
She was born in Tattnall County, Ga., and was preceded
in death by her parents, Marvin Bradham and Beulah Mae
Riner Counts.
She was of the Baptist Faith, and loved to Sing.
She is survived by a brother, Charles Bradham of
Spartanburg, S.C., and 2 uncles, Pharis A. & Clayton
Riner, both of Garden City, Ga., and a number of nieces
and nephews, including Guy Lewis Herron, Jr., Leah Jean
Agonofski , Antasha Agonofski , & April Perry.
Graveside Services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday
at Little Flock Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery at
Collins, Ga.
Fairhaven Funeral Home & Crematory was in charge of
all arrangements.
Brenda Howard Frawley
Brenda Howard Frawley, 60, of Garden City, died
Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2006 at Hospice Savannah, Inc.
Memorial Services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday in
the Chapel of the Fairhaven Funeral Home.
Fairhaven Funeral Home & Crematory was in charge of
all arrangements.
Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Waters
Portal-Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Waters age 73 of Portal, died
Saturday at East Georgia Regional Medical Center. Mrs.
Waters was a stewardess for National and Delta Airlines
and a retired Data Processor for Avon. She was of the
Methodist faith, was very family oriented, and loved her
grandchildren very much. She is predeceased by her
husband William “Bill” Waters, her father Donald
Edward Miller Sr, and her sister Nancy Miller Lewis.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law Dana
Renee and Phillip Evans of Shanghai, China; one son Dane
Hart of California; mother Laura Miller Croft of
Statesboro; three brothers and two sister-in-laws Harold
E. and Doris Miller of Ellabell, Phillip Eugene and
Georgia Miller of Jacksonville, FL and Donald E. Miller
Jr. of Stilson; four sisters and three brother-in-laws
Eddie Lou and Ernest Kelley of Portal, Laura Charlene
and Jimmy Cannady of Statesboro, Debra and Duane Wiese
of Statesboro, and Shirley Olson of Portal; two
grandchildren Phillip and Chloe Evans; several nieces
and nephews
Funeral services were held at 2 P.M. Friday at Morrison
Memorial Chapel. Burial was in Lower Black Creek
Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jamie Olson, Warren Olson,
Kelly Olson, Wayne Cannady, Mark Rogers, Buddy Miller,
Donald Miller, and Ashley Miller Lewis. Morrison Funeral
Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Thomas Hilliard Mosley
Claxton-Mr. Thomas Hilliard Mosley age 66 of Claxton,
died Thursday, November 9, 2006 from injuries sustained
in a car accident. Mr. Mosley was a veteran of the
Vietnam War where he received the Combat Infantry Badge,
the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart, and other awards. He
was employed at Nadep Jax where he worked in the small
paint shop.
Survivors are one daughter Shannon A. Sikes of Danville
IL; son-in-law Joseph Brooks Sikes Sr. of Ellabell;
grandchildren Joseph Brooks Sikes Jr. and Julia L.
Sikes; six sisters Jackie I. Manasco, Mary Maxcine
Adams, Joan A. Hatcher, Sylvia Deane Wawczak, Gerldine
“Gerie” Walden, and Judy Rebecca Cerey.
Funeral service will be held at a later date in Orange
Park, FL. Morrison Funeral Home was in charge of the
arrangements.
Mr. Dwayne Emmette Hagan
Pembroke-Mr. Dwayne Emmette Hagan age 53 of Pembroke,
died Friday morning after an extended illness. Mr. Hagan
was a native of Wildwood, FL, but had lived in Pembroke
since 1968. He was a 1972 Graduate of Southeast Bulloch
High School, a carpenter by trade, an avid fisherman and
hunter, and was of the Baptist faith. He is predeceased
by his father John Sheppard Hagan.
Survivors include his wife Christine V. Hagan of
Pembroke; two daughters and one son-in-law Dawn H. and
Lewis Young of Forsyth and Rachael Amanda Hagan of
Pembroke; one son and daughter-in-law Jonathan Dwayne
“De” and Kasey Hagan of Statesboro; mother Neta Mae
Bazemore of Pembroke; two brothers and one sister-in-law
Donald and Nancy Hagan of Rincon and Robert Terrell
Hagan of Pembroke; one sister and brother-in-law Wanda
and Gary Jeffcoat of Wildwood, FL; four grandchildren
Casey, Logan, and Kristi Anna Young, and Brie Hagan.
Marie Elizabeth Williams
Marie Elizabeth Williams, 87, of Savannah, died
Thursday, Nov. 16, 2006 at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
She was born in Bulloch County, Ga., and was a member of
the Savannah Church of God.
She is survived by a son, Willie W. Williams, Savannah,
Ga; 2 daughters, Ruthie Mae Vinson, Savannah, Ga;
and Juanita Pritchard of West Palm Beach, Fla; 10
grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren, and a number
of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Arrangements are incomplete, and will be
announced by Fairhaven Funeral Home and Crematory.

Jewel Evans Graham
Springfield - Jewel Evans Graham, 83, died Saturday, November 18, 2006 at her
daughter’s residence.
The Screven County native was a member of Corinth Baptist Church, the W.M.U.,
and taught Sunday School for over 60 years and currently taught the Dorcas
Sunday School Class. She was a member of the Springfield Garden Club. She was
preceded in death by her husband, Abner S. Graham.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Julie G. and Larry D. Weddle;
two sons and daughters-in-law, Ralph E. and Ann Graham and Carey F. and Evelyn
Graham all of Springfield; one granddaughter, Joy Lanier of Statesboro; six
grandsons, Kurt, Travis, Loy, and Ron Graham all of Springfield, Kim Harrelson
of Nashville, TN, and Eric Weddle of Germany; three great-granddaughters,
Savannah Harrelson, Ashlyn Lanier, and Katie Weddle; three great-grandsons,
Logan, Walker, and Owen Graham; one brother, Lloyd Evans of Statesboro; two
sisters-in-law, Reba Evans of Sylvania and Estelle Evans of Dade City, FL; and
several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Monday at Corinth Baptist Church.
Interment was in the church cemetery.

Ralph Theodore “Ted” Sasser
Ralph Theodore “Ted” Sasser, 78, of Savannah, passed away peacefully on
Saturday, November 18, 2006, at Hospice Savannah, with his loving family at
his side. He was born in Savannah and at the age of 5 his family moved to
Brunswick, Ga., where he lived until 1979.
He attended Clemson University for two years on a football scholarship and
graduated from Presbyterian College also on a football scholarship.
Ted was retired from The Hercules Corp and the maintenance department of the
Chatham County Board of Education, a veteran of the US Army during the Korean
Conflict and was a Christian.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Marian Levine Sasser of Savannah; a
son, Scotty Sasser of Brunswick, Ga.; a daughter, Cheryl S. Murray; four
grandchildren, Joshua, Ashley, Fyre, Czin, several nieces, nephews, and his
beloved dog Abby.
Ted’s body was donated to the Medical College of Georgia.
Memorial Contributions: Hospice Savannah Inc., 1352 Eisenhower Dr., Savannah,
Ga. 31406.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Corporal Dennis C. Wright, Sr.
Springfield - Corporal Dennis C. Wright, Sr., 52, was killed November 17, 2006
in the line of duty.
Dennis was born in Lakehurst, NJ and graduated from Freehold Township Regional
High School. After graduation he entered the printing business and over the
years progressed from apprentice printer to master printer. In 1990, Dennis
and his family moved from New Jersey to Clyo, GA where he continued to work as
a printer. In 1996, he decided to follow his lifelong dream of becoming a
police officer and entered the Police Academy at Armstrong Atlantic State
University. After graduation, he served as a patrol officer for the
Thunderbolt, GA Police Department and then the Pooler, GA Police Department.
For the last two and one-half years he has been a Deputy Sheriff with the
Effingham County Sheriff’s Office.
Dennis is survived by his father and step-mother, Benjamin G. and Lyn Wright
of Savannah; his mother and step-father, Doris S. and Terrance Weber of
Freehold, NJ; children, Dennis C. Wright, Jr. and Amanda of Clyo, Jennifer W.
Moore of Richmond Hill, and Noah E. Sikes-Wright of Bloomingdale; two
grandsons, Kyle Moore and Brett Moore of Richmond Hill; brothers, Benjamin G.
Wright, Jr., Jeffrey K. Wright and Nona, Douglas D. Wright and Darin; sisters,
Carol J. Hutchinson and Charles, and Jacqueline B. Guarino and Mario; his
fiancée and her children, Patricia Hiers and Austin and Nicole Hiers all of
Springfield.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church of
Springfield.
Interment will follow in Effingham Memorial Gardens.

Troy Corbitt Parrish
Troy Corbitt Parrish, 27, of Faulkville, Ga., died Sunday at Memorial
Medical Health University.
He was born in Savannah, Ga., and was preceded in death by his father, Randy
Ezaon Parrish, paternal grandfather, Ezaon Parrish, maternal grandmother
Frances Hartlaub, and maternal grandfather, Paul Hartlaub, paternal great
grandmother, Zola Long Parrish; and had attended Beach High School. He
was an avid Fisherman, and loved to play Softball, and enjoyed being a member
of the Bowling League.
He was a member of Chevis Oaks Baptist Church, and was employed by Chris
Hartlaub Painting Company.
He is survived by his mother, Patricia Hartlaub “Patty” Parrish, of
Rincon, Ga; a devoted friend, Shelly Clifton, of Faulkville, Ga; a son, Troy
Corbitt Parrish, Jr., 2 daughters, Hayli Reane Parrish and Victoria Elizabeth
Parrish, all of Faulkville, Ga; a brother, Randy Ezaon Parrish, Jr.,
(Charlene), stepfather, William Denny; one niece, Alexandria Parrish,
and 2 nephews, Justin Jones and Gage Parrish.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in the Chapel of the
Fairhaven Funeral Home, with Rev. Kenny Harrelson, officiating.
Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

Andrew Franklin Kondas, Sr.
Andrew Franklin Kondas, Sr., 59, of Port Wentworth, Ga., died Sunday, Nov. 19,
2006 at Hospice Savannah, Inc., surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Savannah, Ga., and had previously been a member of Cecil
Cheeves Chapter, Order of Demolay, and served in the US Naval Reserves.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Port Wentworth, and was
formerly a member of Calvary Baptist Temple.
He worked as a Conductor for CSX Transportation, and he taught “Trainees”
in Brunswick, Ga to become Railroad Men., and he was a member of the
United Transportation Union.
He is survived by his wife, Vonnie Patricia Burns Kondas, of Port Wentworth,
Ga; a son, Andrew F. “Drew” Kondas, Jr., of Port Wentworth, Ga;
a daughter, Laura Michelle Kondas Burns, of San Diego, California; his
stepmother, Thelma Delores Kondas, of Rincon, Ga; a brother, Joseph J.
Kondas, Jr., of Slidell, La; a sister, Carol Lynn Horton, of Lithia
Springs, Ga; 2 stepsisters, Connie Sheley, and Jan Shepard; 2
stepbrothers, Joseph Morris and James Morris, a grandson, Patric Austin
Burns, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 am Friday in the Chapel
of the Fairhaven Funeral Home, with interment in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial
Park.

Mr. Ronald “Ronnie” S. Hathaway
Mr. Ronald S. Hathaway, 63, of Bloomingdale, died peacefully at home on
Wednesday, November 15, 2006, after a short illness. He was surrounded by his
loving family and friends.
Ronnie was born on December 31, 1942, in Savannah. He graduated from H. V.
Jenkins High School and later attended Armstrong College. He served his
country in the US Army from 1966 to 1972, serving in the Vietnam War. Mr.
Hathaway was employed by Great Dane Trailers for over 38 years. He coached
girls’ softball and basketball for years in Effingham County. He enjoyed
camping, fishing, spending time with his family, and was a faithful Atlanta
Falcons fan. He attended Life Springs Worship Center. Ronnie was preceded in
death by his father, Sylvestor Hathaway, and father-in-law, Floyd Mathews, Sr.
Survivors include his loving wife of 38 years, JoAnn Hathaway; his daughters,
Tonja Hathaway of South Guyton and Tammy Hathaway of Bloomingdale; his mother,
Clarice Hathaway of Parkland, FL; mother-in-law, Sallie Mathews of Port
Wentworth; brother, Aaron Hathaway and his wife, Madelyn of Parkland, FL;
cousins, Braxton and Brenda Jeffers of Bloomingdale; brothers and
sisters-in-law, Joe and Lynn Mathews of Savannah, Ronald and Cindi Jenkins of
Cleveland, TN, and Floyd Mathews, Jr. and Loretta of Tallahassee, FL; and a
host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Funeral services were held at 1 PM on Saturday, November 18 at the Thomas C.
Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, West Chatham Chapel. Burial followed at
Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.

Mrs. Kathleen Pierson Meszaros
Mrs. Kathleen Pierson Meszaros, 43, died Saturday, November 18, 2006, at
Candler Hospital.
Kathleen was born in Illinois and graduated in 1981 from Bishop McNamara High
School. She was also a graduate of Armstrong Atlantic State University where
she received her Bachelor’s and Master of Science Degree in Education. She
was formerly employed as an Elementary Education School Teacher at Sand Hill
Elementary in Effingham County and was currently a beloved teacher at Metter
Elementary School. Kathleen enjoyed traveling, playing tennis, snorkeling, and
singing in the choir at Bloomingdale Alliance Church where she was a member.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Deanna Pansa, her maternal
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Salkeld, and paternal grandparents, Mr. and
Mrs. Charles Pansa. Kathleen was an organ donor.
Survivors include her husband, Cary Meszaros; children, Blake, Schuyler, and
Cheyenne Pierson; step-children, Robert and Katie Meszaros; parents, Joyce
Johnson and Wendell “Breeze” Pansa; step-parents, Floyd and Irene
Reynolds; brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Nancy Pansa; sister and
brother-in-law, Sue and Dave Uhnavy; a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and
the Meszaros extended family.
Funeral services were held at 11 AM on Tuesday, November 21 at Bloomingdale
Alliance Church. Burial followed at Gravel Hill Cemetery in Bloomingdale.
