Dogs, a Birthday and a
Pig
By Allison W.

Everyone who knows me knows
how I feel about my 4 legged
family members. The older my
kids get, the more I love my
dogs.
A friend passed
this along to me the other day
and it made me smile. If you
are a dog lover then you'll
appreciate this ... if not, oh
well-
Ten Peeves
that Dogs Have About Humans
1. Blaming your
disgusting body odor on me...
not funny... not funny at all!
2. Yelling at
me for barking ... I'M A DOG,
YOU IDIOT!
3. Taking me
for a walk, then not letting
me check stuff out. Exactly
whose walk is this anyway?
4. Any trick
that involves balancing food
on my nose ... stop it!
5. Any haircut
that involves bows or ribbons.
Now you know why we chew your
stuff up when you're not home.
6. The sleight
of hand, fake fetch throw. You
fooled a dog! Whoooo Hoooooooo,
what a proud moment for the
top of the food chain!
7. Taking me to
the vet for "the big
snip", then acting
surprised when I freak out
every time we go back!
8. Getting
upset when I sniff the [body
parts] of your guests. Sorry,
but I haven't quite mastered
that handshake thing yet.
9. Dog
sweaters. Hello? Haven't you
noticed the fur?
10. Quit
talking about the shedding
already. Why do you think they
call it "fur"niture?
Dogs offer
unconditional love. Cat's have
to think about it!
On October
10th, my Mama will celebrate
her 63rd birthday! We have
even more reason to celebrate,
it's an extra special birthday
this year. Happy 63rd Birthday
Mom! You make me proud, more
so now than ever before!
There's a lot
of stuff going on this
weekend, ...it's that time of
year! If you get a chance,
stop by the 10th Annual Flying
Pig BBQ Festival, held at
Triplet Park in Pooler. It's
always such a fun time!
Friday, Saturday or Sunday,
we'll be around!
